David and Goliath

This week we studied letter "Rr" and the Bible story "David and Goliath."

We discussed how David was able to defeat the mighty Goliath only with God's help!

We made Goliath paper plate faces and put them 9 feet up on the wall (about how tall Goliath was).

Painted our letter "R" with rocks.

Sang and practiced "row, row, row your boat"

And of course we all had a chance to act out being David and Goliath, using pom-pons of course (not rocks!)

Evie Kaye decided she was not going to die and threw the stones back at "David!"

Emma Ann really pretended to be hurt!

and died graciously!

So did Ethan Jay.

We also painted rocks, what masterpieces!
