May in the Wolf Den

What a great and exciting month. A little less busy than last month which we are super thankful for but it is about to get really busy. Ethan Jay is really growing in his language development with the speech sessions that he has and Emma Ann is changing more and more every day. She is finally sitting up on her on really well and is so excited to feel more like a big kid. What a blessing they both are!

Can you really get mad at this face!?!?

Or this?

So, the funniest thing is that he keeps pulling a jar of baby sisters prunes out of the cabinet and asking for them now. We ask him what he thinks they are and he says chocolate. So we gently explain that it is not chocolate that it is prunes so he says "Oh, prunes" and goes and puts them back, but then he asks for them the next day. So one day I gave them to him and the poor sad look on his face was really a picture but I couldn't find my camera. Funny times!

Ethan Jay is really starting to like the jumpies. They used to be a little intense for him with all of the bigger kids on them but he is really starting to like them now.

Emma Ann playing with her toys. Look closely at the mirror!

So cute, okay except for her crazy hair!

Notice what he has on, yep it's Emma Ann's dress that he insisted he try on. What a goof!

Look at that girl go to town on the corn on the cob. That's right, still no baby food! Oh, and I love the hair do she is sporting again. Why does she never keep a bow in her hair?!?!

Memorial Day Weekend

Robert was attending a seminar in Arizona over Memorial day weekend. Well, the kids and I decided to tag along. It was such a great idea. A fabulous breakfast provided by the hotel, playing at the pool in the morning, sandwiches in the room, naps for all, fresh baked cookies in the afternoon (by the hotel), and then when Robert returned we would go out for dinner. It was such a relaxing weekend filled with fun, sun and sleep!

Here we are enjoying the fabulous pool. there was a hot tub, a large pool and a kiddie pool. There were also lot's of cabanas for shade and they had a tun of floats, balls and pool toys for the kids.

Emma Ann is sporting her adorable bathing suit that her Aunt Jo Jo sent her!

Enjoying a little Da Da time!

Ethan Jay is in the kiddie pool here. It was just his size for running around splashing and even layind down and "swimming" around.

One evening we went to dinner at the guys house who was hosting the seminar. He had a real Hawaiin Laui. There was a roasted pig and even fire dancers! Awesome!

Ethan Jay and Emma Ann enjoying the entertainment!

Emma Ann ~ 7 months old!

Can you believe it?!?! 7 months old! She is changing more and more everyday. She's not crawling yet but she can still somehow get around. She loves to lay on her tummy and turn herself in circles. She's so fast at it too. She also loves to stand and hold on to things and has pretty great balance. Notice what she's eating in the picture, yep a pickle, and loving it! She is still not a fan of baby food so I'm not sure what we are going to do with her! We are amazed each day at how much joy and laughter she brings to our home!

Gymnastics

Ethan Jay took a gymnastics class through the community center for a few weeks. This is the only week that we got pictures though, because the other weeks I had both of the kiddos by myself. This week Robert was able to come so he took pictures and kept up with Emma Ann. Yeah! Such a blessing for a little help! Anyways, Ethan Jay loved it! They did the balance beam, flips, spring board, trampoline, and the bars. Ethan Jay's favorite was the bars and he did a lot better than I thought he would have. It was all very basic stuff but he was very eager to do everything.

Here we are sitting on the (um, well you see what it is!) while it is inflating. Pretty neat!

And my little munchkin practicing his hops down it!

Out for a walk!

We really enjoy going on family walks in our neighborhood. We don't do it as often as we would like but it is always so much fun!

What's that I spy? The MOON! Ethan Jay loves the moon and especially loves to point it out if he can see it during the day!

What a cute little bundled up girl! I think she's enjoying the walk!
