Our Jacuzzi Tub!

Yes, Yes we do have a Jacuzzi bathtub, and no I haven't mentioned it before because it doesn't work.  Well not normally!  We were giving the girls a bath and Robert leaned on the edge of the tub and it just came on.  A little freaky.  I do believe there is quite a short in the bathtub.  Robert assured me that the kids could not get electrocuted but this Momma was sure worried!

By the way, just in case you were wondering, they LOVED it!

Soccer

With as rainy and cold as it is here, we have a hard time getting out doors as often as we need to so we compromise and play soccer in the hall way!  The kids love it and I love them burning off a little energy!

My two soccer players and my cheerleader!
I asked why Ethan Jay wasn't giving Emma Ann a turn and he said that she was cheering them on!  Sure enough when I asked her she said that is what she wanted to be doing!

Love this action shot of her throwing the ball!

And a little cheer of her own!

And now it is Mommy's turn!

A Walk up to St. Mary Church

We walked up to our little shopping precinct today for a few things and had a great time.

A stop up on the downs for a peak at the ocean.

A flower for Momma, I never tire of these!

Mrs. Amber was with us and she bought all of them a small toy from one of thrift shops.  Ethan Jay was with her and picked out a transformer car and he picked out a teddy bear for his sisters.  Here they are loving on their bears and holding hands and singing a song.  Love the love between these two sisters!

Emma Ann had to go potty so we found a little cafe to pop into and when I opened the door, I saw this cake sitting up on the display table and knew immediately that I must have a slice!  It was delicious and the kids and I all (fought over it) shared nicely!

The name of the cafe was called "Driftwood Cafe" and it was so cute.  They had all of this old driftwood around the cafe with some really great pictures painted on them.  It reminded me so much of my Daddy.  He Loved driftwood and loved old cars.

Back home again and a sit one the bench with bear.

A fun day at home

Robert has been working most Saturday's (even the morning of Evie Kaye's birthday party, super not a good time!) so we were excited for him to have the day off.  We just hung out all day and it was wonderful!

Playing Jenga!

Uh-oh!

And building a tunnel.

And some really cool dance moves!

And what else can you use Jenga pieces for?

A sculpture,

A helmet,

and a domino effect.

Emma Ann decided to put together a lego set that she had gotten.
This is what I found.
Ethan Jay building it, Evie Kaye supervising and Emma Ann sitting back in the chair with her feet propped up singing a song!

The finished product.

And Jenga pieces can be used to make a trench for your soccer ball to roll down!

I loved every bit of the nothingness today!

Robert's Birthday

Yep, that's right, count them, 33 candles!  He was so made at me saying that I was messing up his pecan pie with all of those holes!  He requested homemade chicken fingers,  macaroni and cheese, collard greens and of course pecan pie!  We had a great evening and invited our neighbors over to help celebrate.

So he wouldn't let me light them all, but he did get them all blown out in one try (well the one's that I had lit anyways!)

Yum, pecan pie!

Kids

and more kids!

One happy, happy birthday for a great husband and a wonderful Dada!

K is for King

We studied King Solomon and King David this week and had lot's of fun doing lot's of great projects.

They put kernels on a letter K.  Kind of impressed with how well Evie Kaye did with this.

Sequencing with some of the kings jewels.

And we read the story "Bartholomew and the Obleck."

They drew a picture of the obleck falling from the sky.

Love all of these different renditions!

And we had to make some obleck!

Wow, was it weird feeling!  Solid one minute and liquid the next!

We also built lot's of castles and made king crowns and discussed how in the U.S. we have a President but here in England that they still do have kings and queens and discussed the differences.
