Two cute fellas!

This was hilarious.   Robert was dancing him back and forth on the bench and doing a show for me and the kids.   It was too cute!

He loves his little bouncer seat.  Especially the pig on it.  He just talks away to that little pink pig!

We barbecued some chicken outside and Easton James loved just looking up at the sky.  If he is ever fussy all I have to do is walk over to a window and he is instantly fine!  And sweet sister loved rolling around on the blanket with him!

I happened to walk by the mirror and he saw his reflection and started smiling!  So I grabbed a seat and we just sat there for the longest time talking to the mirror!

My sleeping beauties.  She loves having him sleep with her.  She knows the rule is if he lays down with her then she has to be very still.  And what happens when a tired little girl is still, she is out like a light!  Works every time!

His siblings decided that he NEEDED ALL of these stuffed animals to help him sleep!

Freedom!

Somebody's got a new bike, I mean, scooter!

That's right, this has been long over due!  Poor Ethan Jay was still using his little red ryder scooter and all three of the kids fought over it constantly.    So in honor of our big trip coming up to Scotland (yep, you heard it right!).  So we sat all the kids down and told them they all grow and change and also out grow some of their things.  So we told Ethan Jay that he had outgrown his scooter and he had to give it to Evie Kaye.  You should have seen him, poor thing I don't think he quite understood it but he did hand his scooter over.  And then we gave Ethan Jay and Emma Ann both a new scooter and all was right in the world again!  They had such a blast trying them out!

How incredibly sweet!  He was helping her ride his new scooter!

And look at them go, the thought as they scootered away, was "Wow, they are all riding away out of the nest way too soon!"

I just must say, it is amazing how many people viewed that last post today.  I'm thinking that many of you thought that my 9 months was talking about something else completely different!  I'm right aren't I!  Oh my, how funny!  Love You All!

9 Months!

9 months is a long time!  A baby can completely grow and form and be ready to be born in 9 months, well it's more like 10 months, but who's counting?!?!  That's a really long time.  It seems like that 9 months turns into an eternity without Krispy Kreme doughnuts!  Don't get me wrong, I really like chocolate (ALOT!), definitely enjoy cake, chips, sweet tea, but Krispy Kreme doughnuts are at the TOP, TOP of the list!  I did not think that they existed here in the U.K. and when I stumbled upon them, it was like the pearly gates had just been opened wide just for me and my belly!  Oh my was that first bite amazing (and the next and the next and all the way to the third doughnut!)  And then I almost threw up!  But I probably could have eaten another doughnut a few minutes later, and I did, because there was a whole dozen of them!  Yum!  I definitely think that it won't be 9 months again, especially now that I know where to find them!

Puppy Update

We went over and visited Andy and Amber's puppies today, and boy have they grown!  The kids loved holding them and were mostly gentle with them!  

They are so stinken cute!

Easton James ~ 8 weeks old

This little boy is growing and changing more and more everyday.  He is so alert, smiling and a talking up a storm and is such a delight!

Evie Kaye insists that he sleep with her.  It is so cute.  We put him in the bed with her, we sit down beside the bed and in moments they are both out.  They both love a snuggle partner!  Then we transfer him to his cradle and life is all golden!

This is hilarious, look at his pants!  They are actually kind of nice because it was too warm for him to wear a onsie underneath this outfit but it kept his tummy covered when his shirt would ride up!

I'm telling you, he loves sleeping in a bed!  Look at that leg kicked up on Robert!

Posing with his blanket that his G.G. made for him.  It is so soft and it will be the perfect blanket this winter for him.  It is so thick and heavy it will stay put in his bed.

Look at how he was sleeping here.  I had just been holding him and had put him down and this is how he ended up.  I hated to move him because he looked so comfortable but it didn't look like he could breath so well!

He's tolerating tummy time for a little bit, but it still doesn't last very long.  He starts to squealing like a little piggy!

And sweet "Sister Mum" as my Mom has named her (all the kids call their Mom's, Mum over here) loves helping to change this little one's diapers. 

And she insisted that he go in his carseat, even though we weren't going anywhere.  He had to be put in and buckled up tight!  I don't actually think he minded it very much!

Saying Good-Bye

The day came all too soon!  My Momma got her suitcases down and had to pack her bags to leave.  Evie Kaye loved helping her with the suitcases!

Her flight didn't leave until about 7 pm so we took our time getting ready, did some shopping, picked Robert up from work and headed up to Otterton Mill to have lunch.  Just had to take a picture of this road.   This was the two lane road that it took us on to get to the mill.  It looked appeared and actually was only room for one car.  If you meet another car you either find somewhere to pull off or back up!

And the weather could not have been more gorgeous at the mill.  

That gorgeous dress was made by my Momma out of a shirt I bought at the thrift store!  Amazing!

They actually had the water mill open so that you could go in and see it working from the inside.  So Cool!

And the waterwheel turned this large crank (or whatever it's called!) to grind the wheat.  So neat to be able to see this and show the kids the process.

The kids love going down to the river and throwing stones in when we go and today was no exception.  Even Dada skipped a few stones!

And then off to the airport to drop Momma off.

Except that we were like an hour early!

So what do you do?

Lie on the dashboard.

Put on lipgloss.

And give really great smoochies!

  They loved riding on the luggage cart!

I told Ethan Jay he had to wrap his arms around the girls and hold them tight so they wouldn't fall off, and he did a great job!

Trying to keep it together here folks!

I loved every minute of her visit and felt like part of my heart flew off on the plane with her!  Until next year  we will have to Skype!
