Birthday Friend Fun!

We had a blast celebrating our sweet friends birthdays, Evie and Joshua.  It was a rainy day so they had it at the Play Cafe and the kids all had a blast.

Emma Ann and her sweet friend Honey.  Oh the love that they have for each other!

Easton James ~ 3 months old

Little boy has truly come into his own!  It's like overnight he has completely changed.  When we got back from our trip, we got out the bouncer and the highchair and the bamboo and he loves them all!

He LOVES his fingers

Sweet little boy is chunky, 16 lbs. chunky!

Look at this face he was making while he was sleeping!

Look at him go in the bouncer.  He is mid jump here.  It took him a few days to figure out what to do, but boy, he can go to town in that thing!

And a whole box of clothes that he has already out grown!  Sniff, Sniff

So we made some chocolate chip cookies and I had set them down on the highchair for a moment (might have been the only clean surface space at that moment) and then I turned around to find him grabbing a cookie!

Yep, this is after I took the cookie from his hand!

He is constantly chewing on everything.  Toys, shirt sleeves, or his fist, anything will do!

Some quality time with Dada

Packing Her Up

We went back to the caravan to clear everything out and give it a good cleaning.  It's amazing how dirty it can get in two weeks, but when you have 6 people traipsing in and out with muddy shoes and all of their stuff and food, it can get quite dirty!

Her Robert is getting it ready to tow to where we are going to store it.
The campsite had the most amazing views of farmland.

We are storing it at Robert's work, which is great because it's in a nice fenced area and even has a few extra large parking spaces just for caravans!

The oddest thing happened though.  When we pulled up I had Robert drop the kids and I off at this field right before you get to the parking lot.  I was just letting them run around a bit while he was unloading the caravan.  All of a sudden this guy in full military gear runs out on to the field and starts yelling for us to get off!  I was quickly rounding the kids up while he is throwing smoke sticks onto the field and I still have no clue what is going on and then this gigantic helicopter about lands on us!  We literally were running off the field as it landed, CRAZY!  Let me tell you, very loud, very windy and a little scary when you have three kids in tow!

Day 18 ~ Heading Home

As we pulled into town it was just getting dark.  It had been a long journey.  We had been staying in the caravan for 18 days and then 2 days in Croughton and it was exciting to head home, but we were so sad to see this journey come to an end.  We had such an amazing time!  I have told many people that I truly expected to be completely done with the whole experience in just a few days, but Robert and I both did not want it to end.  Funny how things can turn out way better than what you could have ever imagined!

The lights in the harbor as we pulled into town.  We dropped the caravan off at a local campsite so that we could go back and clean it out.

Home to sleep in a real bed!

And a first for the girls, they are now sharing a room!  Their very first night sleeping together!  Up until we left on the trip, Evie Kaye was in the other room, but we wanted to go ahead and transition her in here for when the baby is ready to move into the other room that she was in.  The girls did surprisingly well, so we will see how it continues to go!

My two sleeping beauties, sleeping in the bed that I had when I was a girl!

Day 17 ~ Croughton Fun!

We all love Croughton, we get american groceries, mail, laundry done (who knew you could get so excited about laundry!) and lot's of bowling fun!

I love the dance Emma Ann is doing!

The Momma's and Dada's get to bowl too!

I think Ethan Jay is taking after his Dada.

And sweet one slept through most of it.

Evie Kaye decided that she didn't want to use the helper anymore so she would push the ball down and then plop down on the floor and cheer for her ball as it slowly made it's way down the lane!

And one very big boy rolling over!

I think he's pretty proud of himself!

He does so great with going to sleep.  Most of the time I can put him down in his bassinet (or when we are away the carseat) and give him his blanket and paci and he will go right to sleep!  See those sleepy eyes.

The kids loved playing in the backyard while I did laundry.  Of course a few sticks can keep them entertained for hours!

And a few minutes later, we have one sleeping baby!

Look at this brotherly love!

Day 16 ~ Down to Croughton

As we headed out of our last campsite, this was the beauty that was checking in!  Isn't it cool!

And then we hit the worst traffic EVER!  Seriously, our drive of about 4 hours lasted about 8!

The baby slept for a bit.

and then he woke up and demanded to be feed and there was no pulling over.  And seeing as we weren't going anywhere, I got into the back and changed a diaper and feed a sweet baby and watched Nanny McPhee!

We had an amazing sunset.

And we FINALLY made it to the air force base late into the evening!

And then the laundry started!

Day 15 ~ Rainy Day, Last Day

We had big plans on heading down to the lake for the whole day with a picnic lunch and lot's of toys and plans to do nothing!  Well, that didn't quite pan out.  It started raining the evening before and it rained (hard beating down rain, more like a bad storm) ALL DAY LONG!  It never stopped, not once!  so we had a day of rest, relaxation, reading, movies, eating and then a little more of it all!

Ethan Jay using some cardboard to make his sisters some bookmarks.

Momma tackling some reading.  Going through our curriculum for the year.

Sweet snuggle time with my little man.

Ethan Jay's bookmark that he made.  It is trains on a train track.

Easton James loved this glowstick.  Poor thing bashed himself in the head with it a few times!

Nothing better than hot chocolate with marshmallows on a cold rainy day!

And we snuggled in for a nice movie.

I loved every minute of our day.  To be honest, the lake sounded lovely, but we had had such a busy trip and we were all exhausted.  It was actually really nice to have a day to just do nothing!

Day 14 ~ Down to the Lake

When we got back from the castle, we decided to take a walk down to the lake.  The kids had meet a friend and we asked if she would like to join us.  So sweet how quickly kids make friends.  They completely throw themselves into this new found friendship with no inhibitions.  It's like they had been friends for years, holding hands, giggling and being silly!  Just love this!

The lake was beautiful.

Along came two swans and a baby gosling!  They came right up to the edge of the lake to us!
