As we were packing up the kids meet the most adorable kids that had pulled in late the night before. We meet the parents and found out that they don't live far from us down in the south of England! Also they were kind of following along our path and were going to be at our next campsite as well. They kids had such a blast playing together and we can't wait to meet up with them again!
We were heading up to our uppermost destination in Scotland and the drive was amazing!
Yep, this bridge is as narrow as it looks, we barely fit over it and it is indeed a two lane road! And on the other side was a 90 degree turn! Ah, you got to love English/Scottish roads!
Do you see this! At first I didn't even realize what I was looking at, but those are mountains covered with flowering Heather!
That's right good ole Glenfiddich and Glenlivet!
We arrived at our campsite and was pleased to yet again be able to get a spot right next to the playground! The kids love the freedom of being able to play in the morning while we are packing up and in the evening after we return from our days events. And they especially love all of the friends that they have meet along the way!
If Big Brother can do it, so can she (so she thinks!). But she needed help and I was obliged to help the first 20 or so times and then I needed to go feed the baby and start dinner so she was under strict orders to by no means go down that pole without me or her Dadda. Well, that lasted all of 2 minutes and she went kersplat right on the ground! Gotta love my 2 year old that thinks she is 10. That's why she keeps having pretty major accidents because she thinks she can do just about what everyone else is doing, and even though she is quite big for her age, she is still 2. So anyways, were working on unscaffolding some of that confidence in this little eager beaver!
And low and behold, they do have ice-cream trucks in Scotland and they come to campsites! Who would have thunk it!?!? Well, who ever did is awful clever, because you should have seen the line of people waiting to be served extremely overpriced, mediocre ice-cream!
And of course the cutest man of the hour loving him some little snuggle puppy!
Apparently it tastes good too!
