It was so great to share so many of my childhood memories with Ethan Jay! I loved growing up out in the country around animals and I think Ethan Jay loves it too. I think he is a country boy at heart!

Christmas Fun!

We enjoyed lunch with some of my girlfriends in Charleston. It's always great catching up with everyone!


We always enjoy seeing Rita, Any and Caroline when we are at home. It's like Rita and I don't skip a beat even though we go a year inbetween seeing one another! This picture is for just us girls! I can't wait for another few years and us girls can go get our nails done together or enjoy a little shopping!

Yep, that's right, snow in South Carolina!

This was like a look back in time to my childhood when I found Ethan Jay up on the pool table. I spent many an hour up on that pool table when I was a child. My Daddy even made me my own little pool stick that I used and learned to shoot pool when I was young. I learned many lessons from my Daddy while playing pool: paitence, geometry, work ethic and of course lot's of love! It was something so special to be able to share with Ethan Jay.

Ethan Jay laughed the whole way down the ramp on the scooter and I prayed the whole time!

I had Emma Ann sitting in the chair while I was getting ready right down the hallway. I kept checking on her and she was so content but one time as I looked down the hallway I realized that the chair was rocking. As I ran down the hallway I didn't know if I would find Ethan Jay rocking her out of it or sitting on top of her. This is what I found when I got down there. After I collected myself and my heart and I was able to go get the camera and take this picture! How sweet!

Emma Ann is changing by the minute! I can't believe how big she is already and all of the cute things she is doing!

Christmas 2010

Christmas is always a reminder to me that another year has come and gone with all the good and bad in between. It's amazing the changes that can take place in just 12 short months! Holiday's are always such a special time to come home and enjoy family, friends and traditions that we have grown up celebrating and new ones that we have incorporated into our new little family. We are thankful for all of the special times that we had this year and for the special gift of Christ that we rejoice in and celebrate today and all year long!

Ethan Jay's 2nd Birthday!

Ethan Jay's actual birthday was a few days after his party and of course we wanted to have a little celebration on that day as well! He had a great time opening a few presents and then we went to Chuck E Cheese! He loves going there and we had a great time as a family enjoying the evening!

I think that's cheating! But try and tell a 2 year old that!

Basketball is his all time favorite game to play and he's actually pretty good at it!

Intense concentration makes cupcakes taste even better! We had an amazing evening. What a blessing the last two years have been with Ethan Jay in our lives. He reminds me on a daily basis just how good God is!

It's always a little bitter-sweet celebrating your little one's birthday's. It's so much fun watching them grow and become little people but birthday's seem to be a reminder of how quickly they are growing up! We had an amazing day surrounded by so many that love Ethan Jay just as we do!

Emma Ann ~ 7 weeks old

So sweet and precious! She loves attention and loves to talk to you, she is such a little girl!

Visitng Da Da at work! Ethan Jay loves Da Da's office and ALL of the fun things and people to play with. All the people love when Ethan Jay stops by as well, Lot's of play and a little work, but somehow I don't think that is different than any other time!

Santa

We went and saw Santa at the mall and although we don't have any smiles, it could have been a lot worse! Ethan Jay really liked Santa and even wanted to go back and visit again!

Our town has Santa visit different spots in each neighborhood. We heard the truck coming through announcing that Santa was on his way and we loaded up the kids in the stroller and went down to find him. We found Santa on his sleigh with his reindeer and elf and he even had some carolers (look closely in the background).

Did you notice Ethan Jay enjoying a candy cane in all of the pictures! Tis the season for candy and sweets!

Here is Emma Ann all bundled up enjoyig the festivities. We had just gotten home from the doctors office getting her checked out with her first cold. How sad to be so tiny and sick.
