That evening we found a local cafe to have a sandwich in and then an early bed. Of course the poor kids were all out of sorts and were up several times that night. On Saturday, we headed off to the car lot to find Robert a used car to drive and something that we could all fit in until the van got here.
While we were at the car lot, the kids began to get restless so Robert's friend, Matt that had driven us over suggested that we walked down to a little restaurant that was just a few blocks away while Robert finished up the paperwork. He said that the restaurant had a great little play area for the kids. To my surprise as we rounded the corner there was McDonald's! Well the kids of course loved it and it definitely passed the time very well!
So we got the car, well almost, we bought it, but apparently things work a little differently in the UK and you have to wait on the registration to be processed which can take up to a week. So off we were back to the apartment for another night sleep!

What an adventure you have had the first two days. I am so glad that you are keeping up the blog so we can see your life abroad!! I miss you friend. I hate we didn't get to catch up before y'all left. I hope the kids are having a good time and adjusting well.
