Our church holds a messy church event once a month. It's, well, messy church! The kids start out by doing games and crafts while the parents mingle and then we have a short family centered church service and then we all sit down and have dinner together family style! It was so much fun and a great way to fellowship and have others that might be a little leary of church feel comfortable coming in and joining.
The kids loved all of the crafts.
Emma Ann was making a brooch, but she thought she was making a hair bow!
She also made a spinning wheel with all of her family members on it.
Ethan Jay made the coolest painting art project.
He taped off a picture,
And then painted over it.
Once dried he peeled off the tape and had a beautiful masterpiece.
Sweet baby Cayden. Our preacher and his wife are fostering this sweet baby. They have borrowed Ethan Jay's little clothes and it is such sweet nostalgia seeing him wearing them!
Poor Evie Kaye slept the whole time! She missed everything.
A great little sermon lead by our pastor and his wife, Richard and Rachel.
And then we all shared a yummy meal together. What a great evening!
