There is a small patio and garden area that is a shared space among all the tenants here. It's nice enough, but the wood on the patio furniture has been neglected for years and years, really more like decades. So my Momma and I, who apparently don't have enough to do decide to strip the wood down and varnish it! We also spruce up the flower beds and planted some yellow squash from the seeds that she smuggled over! The English have never heard of yellow squash before, how bizarre!
Love seeing Momma with her grands. I have such strong fond memories of working with my family in the garden.
My littlest man just hanging out as usual.
This is one working woman. My Momma, Grandma and Nannie are the three strongest women I have ever meet. There is nothing that they have not been able to accomplish. It was such a joy and privilage growing up under their wing. Now it's just trying to live up to the women that they are. It's a tough job!
The kids loved playing in the mist from the pressure washer! They were filthy!
Love this!
And this!
And Ethan Jay helping Robert put up an edging fence along the side of the garden. Look back in the earlier photos and you will notice that the small edge garden is only about a 1 1/2 feet wide and then there is a cliff that drops off about six feet! Yikes. So the ball goes over and were screaming after the kids to not go over after it. I am going to love this fence being in place!
