We had an amazing day at Cockington Village. The houses in the village still have people living in them, but the large estate home and other buildings are now for public use. The inn is a restaurant and the main estate house has a gift shop and a tea room and behind the house is a beautiful garden and all sorts of shops including a blacksmith, chocolatier and a glass blower! We got some great pictures of the kids as I'm sure most of you have already seen on the birth announcement! The weather was great and we had an amazing time.
Attempting to get a decent picture of everyone looking and smiling is pretty much impossible. This was like take # 15 of about 20!
But then you get one's like this! She is gorgeous and precious and crazy all rolled up into one! Love her!
My sweet Evie Kaye is a great soccer player. I mean it, she is amazing with a soccer ball!
And sweet one's with the new precious guy in town that we can't get enough of!
Easton James is growing so much. He wore this outfit a week ago and it fit him fine with a little room to spare, but today it barely buttoned!
Yet again trying to get a picture of them all together proved rather unsuccessful! This was by far the best one! Emma Ann was screaming here, but in other pictures she was the only one smiling. Evie Kaye was sad only because we told her she couldn't lay on the baby, which she was doing in several of the photos and the good sweet Lord only knows about the conversation Ethan Jay was having with him. He had to be praying for a little bit of peace at that moment!
Oh, how I just want to eat these kiddo's up!
I see these pictures and am reminded of how amazingly blessed I am. God is oh so good! Robert's and I's marriage has not been rainbows and cupcakes, but it has been real. Real true love that is so tough at times but also so amazing and we have four beautiful healthy children! Their spunky, sometimes loud and obnoxious but their ours, entrusted to us by God to raise and love and teach and I am loving every minute of it!
This is my Evie Kaye. This picture completely sums her up, she's a bit reserved, mild tempered most of the time, and oh so affectionate. She melts me!
Emma Ann running up to the big house. It was so great for them to just be able to run, run, run!
Evie Kaye saw this log along our walk and climbed up and sat down for a little rest!
The kids loved seeing the horse. Last time we were here they were in a field right beside where we parked and they came running up to the fence and we got to pet them for the longest time!
A little swing at the playground.
Is that a bush, a secret hide-out or a cool spot in the shade?
It's all 3! It was so cool! In both contexts!
Emma Ann and G.G. went for a stroll in the most beautiful rose garden.
Can't wait to come back again, it was an amazing day!
