London ~ Day 1

I'm sorry there are so many pictures.  We had a jam packed day and saw so much.  Wonderful but tiring!

We started our day out on the Big Bus Tour.  We got a seat up top which was super cool for the kids, but we did have to sit under the covered area because it was rainy and very breezy!

A view of the Tower Bridge and the HMS Belfast

At the Tower of London
Notice that everyone had to bring along a stuffed animal or doll.  And do you notice Evie Kaye's life-size baby that she had to drag along for the day!

The tower used to be home to quite a few zoo animals so they now have replicas of some of them now.

One of the statues of the horses.  There was a whole room full of them and Emma Ann was amazed!

Ethan Jay by one of the cannons.  Notice the elephant in the back.  Another animal that they used to have there!

Lot's and lot's of these stairs.

The guard out in front of The Crown Jewels

And a yummy lunch in their cafe and one of Ethan Jay's famous pictures!

This girl loves a map or brochure.  She grabs one at each place we go and hangs on to it like it is gold.  She opens it up occasionally looks at it and keeps on going.  Precious!

Back on the bus and Evie Kaye listening to the audio tour on the bus.

Another rainy day in England!

Over to Buckingham Palace

We thought that we could have tea with the Queen, but she didn't answer our knock at the door!

Changing of the guards

And the over to the London Eye

Inside of our capsule.  This was so super cool and we had the most amazing view of the whole city!

The capsule below us.

Our view of the Elizabeth Tower and the Big Ben Bell.

We stumbled upon the coolest park right by the London Eye and it was the perfect place for the kids to burn off a little energy.

All of my little spiders on the web!

We went to a yummy pizza place for dinner and they gave the kids a little piece of dough to roll out while we waited on our food.  What an amazing idea.  The kids had a blast and were completely entertained!

What an amazing, exhausting day!  And we still have 3 more days here!
