London

We had to take a trip up to London to get Easton James registered with the U.S. Embassy, so we took the caravan up and stayed on the outskirts of London.  We took the train into London and then the subway to get over to the Embassy.

This smart frugal Momma made sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches to eat on our way.  I made them before we left home and then just reheated them that morning in the oven while we were getting ready and had a scrumptious breakfast on the train ride!

Hooray, we made it to the U.S. Embassy!  It was kind of exciting to see that flag waving there! 

The whole embassy experience went so much more smoothly than we had anticipated.  We had been originally told to expect a 2-3 hour wait before we were seen, but we were in and out in 1 hour and 45 minutes!  

Next, we headed over to Hyde park for a walk around.

The kids loved seeing people horse riding!

We went over to Princess Diane's Memorial Playground and it was Amazing!

It was based off of Never, Never Land and they had Captain Hooks ship,

And the secret Hide Away!

The kids loved playing in the sand pit in the ship.  It was so sweet to look down and see Ethan Jay and Emma Ann playing so nicely with that little girl.

One cute, sweet little fella loved watching all of the action!

They found Captain Hooks treasure!

And the Indian Tribe's tent,

Such a good Dada!  My hips were really starting to bother me at this point, so he insisted that he push the stroller, and wear the baby.  We sure did get some looks as we passed people and here I am strolling along with nothing and he was like this!

We headed over to find the Peter Pan statue!

And then we walked over to the Science Museum.  

I loved this replica of the first flight by the Wright brothers in N.C.!

We went into a little show/class about rockets and Emma Ann was asked to help with a demonstration.  Here she is trying to push this guy like in a rocket.

And then it was her turn to be the rocket and him to be the force!  Boy was there a lot of force, and this Momma thought she was going to go right on off into outer space!  Of course she loved every single second of it!

There was this huge area set up for the kids to test out different scientific phenomena.  

A real moon rock!  So awesome!

This was one of the actual Apollo Spacecrafts that went into space!!!!!

This side shows how it was burned from it's reentry back into the earth's atmosphere.

We went down to a little children's discovery area and the kids had a blast.

Do you know what these are?  Yep, door stops, and what kid doesn't love playing with one of these, or 50!

Water play, so much fun!

We then headed out for a little walk around and to find some dinner.

The kids loved this street artist and his balloons!

I was wearing a sleeping baby, Evie Kaye was asleep, Emma Ann was temperamental (as usual!) and Ethan Jay said his legs were hurting (so were mine!).  

I took a picture of Harrod's because it is a famous shopping department store, little did we know as we were passing by and walking everywhere to find somewhere to eat, that they apparently have an amazing cafe right inside!

We ended up at a little pizza place and that cold pepsi and pizza and seat to sit in were Heavenly!

The kids were pretty happy too!

That was one long tiring but great day!  

We took the subway and then the train back and then had a short walk back over to our campsite.  It was about 9:30pm and we were near the campsite in a suburb when right in front of us on the side walk we spotted a FOX!  Yep, right in the city, apparently foxes are very common!  It trotted on along, paying no attention to us!  Crazy!
