Two of our main criteria for buying a house here in North Carolina was that we were able to have chickens (most neighborhoods do not allow for you to have poultry) and that we could plant a good size garden!
Check and Check! I was so excited to begin our garden. We had a neighbor farmer come over and till up this plot with his tractor. It used to be nice grass but it is ready for some seeds now!

We planted peppers, spinach, potatos, carrots, collards, egg plant, onions, garlic, zinnas, tomatos, green beans, butter beans, field peas, okra, corn, zuchinni, squash, egg plant, and watermelon.
Can't wait to see what comes up!
