Wild Animal Park

We only live about 45 minutes from the Wild Animal Park and about 1 hour from the San Diego Zoo. They are related parks and the year pass gets you into both. We decided this would be great for our family. After getting our pass we just couldn't wait to go! We arrived at 10 am and stayed until the park closed at 5 pm and I still felt like we didn't see everything. We had an amazing day and can't wait until our next trip! Here we are waiting to see the elephants come out for lunch! And here they are! Soooo cute! There were probably almost 20 and several of them were babies! We enjoyed a great bird show. Ethan Jay LOVES birds and could not get enough of them soaring right over our heads! These pictures are so rare these days (ones of Robert and I only!) Ethan Jay petting one of the deer. He insisted upon this strange animal with a rhine-stone saddle. There were so many cute/cool animals to choose from, but he was extatic to ride this one!

Couldn't be more cute! All on his own, he reached over and grabbed her hand as she fell asleep.
