We were sitting at dinner and Robert looked out the window and said "Hey, we have ducks in our backyard!" I couldn't believe it. There they were. A female and a male duck swimming in our pool. The next minute they had spotted us at the window and instead of flying off, they jumped out of the pool and waddled right on up!
Ethan Jay was extatic and loved feeding them. So was Brody!
The ducks returned for two more afternoons at the same time 5 pm. I was sad that they didn't return after that but it was probably for the best because I don't believe that dogs and ducks are the best of friends. We enjoyed them while they visited though!
