What a great day and a great time honoring an extraordinary woman and cause! My Grandma Millie is still trooping along and we had a blast with all of the family and a few friends doing a walk to raise money and awareness for alzheimers. We meet in Myrtle Beach for the walk and had pizza and let the kids play at the park afterwards. The weather was beautiful and the company better!
Our group
The start of the walkers. Our group ended up at the very end because Emma Ann had to go potty right at the beginning of the race!
A pic of our group starting the walk.
Ethan Jay walking with Grandma and Uncle B.J.. He was telling her a most fascinating story!
Gram and her daughters
The Tanner Clan
It was really quite a beautiful scene, but by the time we got back they were mostly gone.
Everyone walking took a flower and wrote who they were walking for on it. Each color represented something different (having alzheimers, supporting someone, caring for someone with or in memory of someone with)
The family enjoying pizza afterwards. The park was just next to the cabana so it was perfect for the kids to play.
The Lady of the hour!
Ethan Jay's shirt! Soo cute!
