Evie Kaye's Birthday Party

 There is nothing more fun than celebrating a sweet little one by throwing a fun party!

Sweet Evie Kaye asked for a pink party and I was much obliged!

It didn't take much thinking to know that we had to include the book "Pinkalicious".  It is about a little girl who loves pink so much that she eats too many pink cupcakes and turns green!  The only thing to turn her back to normal again is to eat lot's of green things!  She decided that she liked herself just the way she was!

I then thought about the book "Little Pea" whom is a little pea who has to eat a steady "healthy" diet of candy every night for dinner and then he may have his dessert, spinach!  

I started off the party by reading the first book and then we sang happy birthday and had a yummy spread of pink and green food!

All the yummy pink food:  strawberries, pink grapefruit, watermelon and strawberry jam sandwiches.  And a few pretzels to mix it up!

And the yummy green food:  pickles, green apples, green grapes, cantaloupe and cucumbers.

And then the delicious pink lemonade cupcakes!

And we sent all the girls home with a little hair bow that I made and the boys all took home an outdoor  tic-tac-toe set from pop-sickle sticks, rocks and a piece of chalk for drawing the lines with.

What a fun celebration!
