A little slice of pecan pie for everyone!We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and wish we could have been there to celebrate with all of yall! We miss everyone so much throughout the year and the holidays are no exception. This just means we are closer to Christmas and closer to coming home!
We had a great time over at Robert's brother house with his family. Robert fried a turkey and I as usual am on my quest to "southernize" the rest of the world so I made mac-n-cheese, sweet tea, deviled eggs, Robert's Aunt Marilyn's sweet potato souffle, my Momma's famous cranberries, and a holiday wouldn't be complete with out a little pecan pie! Somehow this made our day just a little bit better! Of course, I am missing my Daddy even more at this time of the year but knew he would be proud of Robert's deep fried turkey!
